Women In Apprenticeship Program (WAP)
The Women in Apprenticeship Program aims to increase the number of women in apprenticeship programs in the District and the country at large by providing them with the necessary skills and support to succeed in any industry of their choice. The program offers Financial Support, training, and networking opportunities to women who desire to enroll in any apprenticeship program of their choice, as well as promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace. By investing in women’s apprenticeships, the initiative seeks to close the gender gap in skilled labor and provide women with access to high-paying, in-demand careers.
